Hi There!
We are Eric and Amber Blais, the people behind Terra Candle Co. We began making candles in our small downtown loft in 2013. Amber set out to just create her wedding guest favors but one thing led to another and they began selling at local craft shows. Eventually it turned into selling wholesale at small businesses and opening an Etsy shop in 2020.
Our name derives from the latin word for earth, "terra". It was important to us to choose a name that reflects our values: creating a candle that is not harmful to humans or the planet. We are passionate about good-smelling candles that don’t pollute the air or use harmful ingredients. Our candles are all pure soy, phthalate-free, with cotton wicks, and infused with essential oils.
We make small batches and hand pour them ourselves at our home in central Virginia. We hope you enjoy your cozy candles.
